From the time she was a young art student in the Rosenthal - Pratt University Art Scholarship Program, and perfected her talents at the Art Student League, to the present, Madeleine has created thought-provoking paintings, depicting key aspects of the American society.

As an accomplished artist and teacher, she has created significant paintings and works of art that profiles the aging of America, memorializes slices-of-life scenes, challenges critical issues of our time and underscores the sorrow of significant events.

For instance, some of her paintings reflect the abortion issue and encourages her viewers to question the impact of the continuance of the Roe vs. Wade law. Also, her "Have We Forgotten?" paintings communicate a message to all to better understand and reflect on the disaster of September 11th.
